Former Winterhawk and current Buffalo Sabres forward Paul Gaustad has been spending time in Buffalo recently during the offseason, and can be seen in a couple of places around right now.

There’s a lengthy video interview with him where he discusses a wide range of topics, including his work in the community, his draft memories and how he wants to improve as a player. That piece can be seen here.

Paul was also on hand to help the Sabres with a $10,000 donation to the Theater Alliance of Buffalo. You can read more about that here.

Normally, we would post these types of stories on, but for some unknown reason we’re having issues with posting links on the site. Similarly, I discovered yesterday when I was posting the Brad Ross interview that the system no longer likes it when I try to bold text, hence why the interview questions aren’t differentiated from the answers.

We’re not sure why these issues are arising all of a sudden, but given that we’re in the process of building a new site, we’re basically just going to have to spend the summer working with what we have. In the meantime, that may mean some features are unavailable, or in the case of not being able to bold, inconvenient, but we’re doing what we can.
